Morningstar integrates with 3 more platforms
Morningstar has integrated its flagship Morningstar Adviser Workstation with three adviser wrap platforms.
Morningstar’s new wrap platform data import facility allows financial advisers on the Funds Network, Novia and Ascentric platforms to download client portfolios directly to the workstation.
Advisers can then analyse investment portfolios using the workstation’s investment data, research and tools.
The integrations follow those with the Transact, Nucleus and RJIS wrap platforms in November 2009.
Geoff Balzano, chief executive officer of Morningstar UK, said making the adviser business platform-friendly was a priority.
He said: "Advisers have clearly embraced platforms as an efficient place to manage their client portfolios, and having Morningstar’s analytical tools and investment analysis connected is a logical extension.
"We look forward to continuing our programme of integrations with other platforms in the near future."
