Nucleus reveals new IFA advisory board
Nucleus Financial, the adviser-owned and controlled wrap platform, has unveiled its new IFA advisory board, with the chair to be shared among a number of firms.
In a new move that aims to give all member firms an equal say in the strategic direction of the platform, the chair of the board will be rotated among the seven representative firms, starting with John Moore from Aberdeen-based Central Investment Services.
The new seven-strong board will include one new representative firm - Applewood Asset Management. The remaining six firms - Asset Management IFA, Central Investment Services, FA Watts, Helm Godfrey, HKA and WR Financial Management - continue on from the 2008 board.
New IFA advisory board member Colin Lawson, a senior partner at Applewood, said he was "thrilled" to be part of the team that shapes the platform's future strategy.
"The Nucleus wrap is based on aligning advisers more closely with their clients," he added.
"Through this new adviser chaired board, we can agree collectively how we think the platform should develop, enabling us to offer our clients a stronger, tailored investment solution."
