Among the funds now available is the recently launched Global Megatrend Selection fund of funds, which provides exposure to an equally weighted share of each of Pictet’s eight thematic sector funds.

The Pictet portfolios now available on the platform also include the Timber, Biotech, Clean Energy, Digital Communications, Generics, Premium Brands, Security and Water funds. All of the funds are in sterling and domiciled in Luxembourg.

Paul Gaston, UK sales director at Pictet Funds, welcomed the move as “great news” and said his company’s funds had experienced “considerable demand” in the UK, particularly the Global Megatrend Selection fund.

Andrew Smith, chief technology officer at Nucleus, said the addition of Pictet’s funds was a “great asset” to the Nucleus platform, as it met a “growing need for advisers to have access to as diverse a range of funds as possible”.

In early March, Pictet made the same funds available on Cofunds, bringing the total number of products on the platform to 13.
