Last week (17 April) Aviva Investors announced the departure of Dan Roberts, who is taking up a post as investment manager at Gartmore to manage its UK equity income fund. (See article.)

In light of his departure, Aviva is to replace Roberts with internal manager of the Aviva Investors UK Equity Fund Chris Murphy, who will now manage the UK Equity Income Fund.

Following the departure of Roberts, however, OBSR has removed the A rating on the Aviva Investors UK Equity Income fund with immediate effect.

Roberts has been ranked one of Britain’s top 100 fund managers.
