Capita Financial's London staff placed in consultation process
Capita Financial Group has confirmed it is consulting its London-based staff as it relocates its UK collectives service to Leeds.
The group also announced Robert Coyle, director of insurance and investor services, will also leave the group after nine years with the firm.
A spokeswoman said: "As a result of this strategic decision, several of the departments in Ibex House were, earlier this week, informed that the number of roles based in London will be reduced over the coming months.
"Due to the number of possible redundancies, we will be required to consult for a minimum of 30 days."
Mr Coyle will be replaced by Vic Gysin, who currently heads up the group's integrated services division.
The spokeswoman said the plans to move to Leeds were part of a long-established plans for reorganisation, adding that the Leeds office will be supported by Capita Financial Group staff based in its Mumbai operations.
