Baker Tilly appoints Flaherty

Baker Tilly has appointed Michael Flaherty as a senior tax manager for its southern regional private client advisory team.

The Guilford-based team specialises in all areas of private client tax advice and compliance work.

Mr Flaherty said: "This is an exciting time to be returning to UK accountancy practice and in particular Baker Tilly's expanding private client group which is increasing its focus on advising offshore trusts/companies and high net-worth individuals following the significant tax changes introduced in the Finance Act 2008."
