A £10m fund has been established to help female entrepreneurs overcome barriers to business success.

Support and training delivered via face-to-face meetings, telephone calls and emails performs a mentoring component of the scheme and should help women to robustly test and validate their business plan against the commercial reality of the market. In turn, this should best prepare them to apply for up to £30,000 from the Enterprising Women and Lloyds TSB Commercial fund.
