Conforto Financial Management has continued its expansion drive with the appointment of a senior wealth adviser from Towry Law and a new graduate adviser.

The appointments follow the high net-worth adviser's acquisition in July of the Hertfordshire-based IFA The McCroddan Partnership which took the number of staff to 15, including five registered individuals.

Adam Osper is joining Conforto from the London office of Towry Law, which he joined when it acquired previous employer MLP Private Finance.

For MLP Private Finance, Mr Osper ran the London office with a team of 16 advisers.

Will Myers is also joining Conforto as a graduate trainee.

Conforto aims to shortly open a London office as part of plans, which include further acquisitions to build a company with assets under management of £500m upwards.

Andy Sutton, managing director for Conforto, said: "We are delighted to be able to appoint high quality individuals such as Mr Osper and Mr Myers and look forward to working with both to continue the company's expansion.

"We are committed to the future of the IFA sector and pleased to be able to train and recruit new advisers."

Conforto is based in Hitchin and has previously disclosed details of its aim to build an exclusively fee-based business through a series of acquisitions and by widening its client base.

In the year to March 2008, fee income at Conforto reached more than £1.1m with assets under management in excess of £50m.
