Wizard waves its wand over CII qualifications
Tool to help with 'push for professionalism' in the industry
A qualification advice tool aimed at advisers, mortgage intermediaries and finance professionals has been launched by Wizard Learning.
The continuing professional development core advice initiative has been designed to help anyone studying for the Chartered Insurance Institute's financial planning qualifications.
Mike Goldsmith, managing director for Wizard Learning, believes this will aid advisers in the push for professionalism.
He said: "We built the qualification planner tool as a result of a raft of feedback we received regarding the complexity of the qualification process.
"The credit system and the number of credits required to reach each of the three qualification levels can be very difficult to understand, especially for those new to the industry. We have developed a practical, easy to use tool which simplifies the process, adds an element of fun and makes it easier to plan for the exams to take."
Advisers will be able to access material on four key topics and complete assessments on each topic and a re-take opportunity.
The training site - led by chartered financial planners Mike Goldsmith and Cris Glascow - will also provide feedback on answers given.
In addition, it offers a complete continuing personal development record where new key topics will be added every month to enable customers to maximise ongoing use of the continuing personal development core advice tool.
The tool is free to purchasers of single products until 1 March 2009.
