Skandia Dublin fund range available for offshore bonds
Skandia International, the offshore division of the business, has added seven Skandia Global Funds (SGF) products to its Royal Skandia and Skandia Ireland fund ranges.
SGF operates 22 single strategy funds with the management of each outsourced to a specialist manager.
The seven funds are: Skandia Emerging Market Debt; Skandia European Equity; Skandia Greater China Equity; Skandia Healthcare; Skandia Technology; Skandia Total return USD Bond and Skandia US All Cap Value.
Steve Ellis, head of investment proposition at Skandia International, said the funds had proven to be popular across Europe and Latin America.
"It’s the natural next step to make them available for investment via the offshore products Skandia International operates in those same markets.
"The creation of Skandia Investment Group has really helped in terms of securing investment solutions from around Skandia and making them available to a wider set of advisers and their clients.
"Our fund ranges are built based on demand, and we have launched these as part of a programme of new links to non-UK domiciled funds based on such feedback from our customers," he added.
