Addidi, founded by Anna Sofat, director of AJS Wealth Management and former managing director of Fiona Price & Partners was launched to reflect the fact that women are generating more wealth than ever before.

According to Datamonitor, women account for around 46 per cent of the UK’s millionaires which is predicted to rise to 53 per cent by 2020.

Sofat says that female wealth is growing by almost 11 per cent every year with 448,000 women in Britain classified as high net-worth. The combined wealth of Britain’s 100 richest women is more than £33bn

Women's financial growth is partly down to the fact that they now working more than ever and are no longer reliant on divorce settlements or inheritances. And there is the rise of the so-called "kitchen table" tycoons, female entrepreneurs who are setting up hugely successful businesses from home.

Sofat, said: “Whether our preference is for Aegean blue or fuschia pink, Perrier Jouet or Ruinart, Great Ormond Street Hospital or The Rainforest Foundation, it is my belief that one simple factor binds us all, the wish for our wealth to serve us well and preferably outlive us.”
