Adam Tyler, chief executive of the NACFB, said his organisation had decided to ditch RJ Langman to return to monthly premiums for members.

He said: "It does mean the end of our long standing relationship with Stephen Allen [risk executive at RJ Langman], one that has served the association well for many years.

"The new premiums in most cases will be less than last year. There may be some increases for those fortunate enough to be at the top end of the fee income scales."
