A little stability, please

With a lot of comings and goings at the regulator it must be careful not to send out the wrong message

Reports of the promotion – or sideways move – of the Amanda Bowe, who has had her critics and supporters, may be a further development in her career at the City regulator, but for those knee-deep in the retail development review, it is an unwarranted diversion.

With a relatively new chief executive, a new chairman and now a new head of the retail development review team, the change in responsibilities sends the wrong message to the industry.
