• With the increased demand for drawdown through unsecured and alternatively secured pensions, the need for investment choice and flexibility has become standard;

• Increased life expectancy and the reemergence of inflation as a threat further drive the need for a sophisticated investment strategy;

• SIPPs still offer extra planning opportunities such as buying commercial property or making in specie contributions.
