DCSF is 'on course'

The department for children, schools and families is improving in all areas and is in a strong position to deliver on the new challenges set out in the children’s plan, according to its capability review.

David Bell, permanent secretary, said: “We will be launching a new departmental action plan towards the end of the year, which will set out how we take our performance to the next level and bring about the behaviour change needed. ”
