The move brings Origo’s free-to-use Agency Administration service membership to include 14 of the industry’s product providers and is used by directly authorised firms, networks and service providers.

The online, one-stop shop enables advisers to create and submit requests for agency arrangement changes with multiple providers. Origo said the service aims to reduce advisers’ costs, save time and provide confirmation of request completion.

Paul Pettitt, managing director of Origo, said: “We have welcomed Prudential to Origo’s Agency Administration service as we recognise the value of collaboration to deliver cost-saving services to the industry and advisers in particular.”

The provider said advisers will be able to manage day-to-day changes through the service. The service was improved to include letters of authority in March last year.
