The provider has appointed Jacqui Irons as senior operations manager to ensure workplace savings is well positioned to handle the demands of auto enrolment on Legal & General’s operational areas.

Ms Irons will report to Ian Mahoney, operations director of Legal & General’s Workplace Savings.

She will head up Workplace Savings existing dedicated resource to deliver operational readiness covering scheme administration services, auto enrolment scheme design, enrolment and member support.

Mr Mahoney said: “Jacqui has a wealth of experience in leading operations at a senior management level, particularly in delivery of member enrolment and customer services, which are an ideal match for the skills required to deliver auto enrolment across new and existing schemes.

“Jacqui will also pick up operational responsibility for our group transfers service proposition and employer sponsored schemes, which offer Group Sipp and CISA arrangements.

“I am confident that this new role will ensure we are able to overcome any operational challenges that AE creates in the months ahead and I look forward to working with Jacqui on our auto enrolment programme.”

Ms Irons said: “The workplace savings business is set to treble in size by the end of the auto enrolment staging programme and is well positioned to deal with this operational challenge.

“I am delighted to have joined Legal & General at a time when its services and products are leading in the drive toward auto enrolment and to head up a dedicated team supporting auto enrolment delivery.”
