Friends Life adds to protection management team
Friends Life today announces (31 January) two new appointments to the senior management team of its protection business.
Mark Anders has been appointed sales and marketing director for individual protection and David Williams becomes director of group protection at Friends Life.
Mr Anders will take up the new role of sales and marketing director at the beginning of May.
He joins from Ageas, where he was head of sales.
He will be responsible for all sales and marketing activity for Friends Life’s individual protection business.
Mr Williams takes on the new role of director of group protection, reporting to Steve Payne, managing director of protection at Friends Life.
Mr Williams will drive forward the new group protection proposition launched last year.
He is currently finance director for protection at Friends Life.
Mr Payne said: “These two new appointments will significantly strengthen our protection business leadership as we continue to focus on developing strong and innovative protection propositions for both the individual and group markets.”
