M&G appoints new CEO of Prupim
New Prupim CEO will start in July as current MD becomes chairman to “ensure a smooth handover”.
M&G Investments has appointed Alex Jeffrey as chief executive of Prupim, its real estate fund management business.
Mr Jeffrey joins from MGPA, an independent private equity real estate investment advisory business, where he has held various senior roles over the past 13 years, most recently global chief investment officer based in Singapore.
Upon his July 2012 arrival at M&G in London, Mr Jeffrey will join the main board of M&G and report to Michael McLintock, chief executive at M&G.
Martin Moore, Prupim managing director for the past 15 years, will then become chairman of the real estate fund management business “to ensure a smooth handover” to Mr Jeffrey. Mr Moore has already expressed his intention to retire after 2012.
Mr McLintock said “We are delighted that Alex is joining M&G. With an impressive record of leadership roles in the international real estate investment sector, Alex is extremely well-qualified to lead the next phase of Prupim’s growth.”
