Julian Menges, deputy manager for the managed portfolio service, will take over responsibility for its management.

Prior to joining the wealth manager, Mr Menges was head of portfolio management at Heartwood Wealth.

He will be supported by Ben Mountain, head of investment fund research at the firm.

Quilter said: “[Mr Mountain] will provide further continuity and become much more involved with the day to day operation of the managed portfolio service.

“At the same time, we are also focusing on strengthening our team over the next few months.”
