Aviva’s Moss to get £300,000 golden goodbye
Aviva’s outgoing chief executive is to receive an additional £300,000 on top of his basic salary in lieu of 12 months’ notice, a stock exchange announcement has revealed.
Andrew Moss, whose resignation as chief executive was announced to shareholders on 8 May, is on a salary of £960,000, the latest director’s remuneration report has shown.
In addition, he will retain the benefit of £209,000, five-twelfths of his annual payment for the calendar year under the Aviva Capital Accumulation plan, the insurer’s equivalent of a money purchase pension plan.
