Quilter appoints Scott Peebles as investment manager
Edinburgh appointment is the latest in firm’s drive to expand investment management team.
Investment management company Quilter has appointed Scott Peebles in a newly-created investment manager role in the company’s Edinburgh office.
Mr Peebles previously worked as a private client investment adviser for Close Asset Management, where he gave advised on inheritance tax and self-invested personal pensions and led seminars on retirement options and investment planning for executives of FTSE 100 companies.
A chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holding a diploma from the Personal Finance Society, Mr Peebles has 26 years of experience in the Scottish financial services sector.
Quilter last year gave clients a dedicated east coast presence in Scotland with the appointment of Alan Aitchison as head of the then-newly-opened Edinburgh office.
Mr Aitchison said: “The last 12 months have been extremely busy. Such is the popularity of our style of personalised investment management services that we quickly recognise the need to strengthen our team to meet the demand.”
Mr Peebles is the eigth new starter since the beginning of the year across Quilter’s 13 regional offices.
