Canada Life adds to management team
Senior figures from Aviva and Lloyds join Canada Life in preparation of renewed push for growth.
Canada Life has appointed Peter Towers and Richard Priestley as managing director for wealth management and executive director for retirement income respectively.
Arriving from his prior position as Aviva managing director for life and pensions in Ireland, Mr Towers will take on the task of developing Canada Life’s onshore and offshore wealth management business including Isle of Man-based Canada Life International.
Mr Priestley joins from Lloyds Banking Group, where he was commercial director for life pensions and investments.
He will lead Canada Life’s activities in the retirement income marketplace.
