IFAs to open their doors on Independence Day
For the second year running a group of IFA firms will be opening their doors to fellow advisers on Independence Day (4 July).
The IFA open days, which are being sponsored by wrap platform Nucleus, are being held at six locations around the UK.
Led by the hosting firm the central theme for each of the days will be around ‘understanding and managing business risk’ at what is a critical time for firms passionate about their future independence.
The open days will be held between 9.30am and 11.30am on 4 July at FA Watts Investment Managers in Fareham, Equilibrium Asset Management in Wilmslow, Estate Capital Financial Management in Swansea, Helm Godfrey in London, James Hair & Co in Edinburgh and Smith & Pinching Ltd in Norwich.
Barry Neilson, business development director of Nucleus, said: “For too many years IFAs have been preached to and lectured at by product providers who don’t really understand what they do or how they do it.
“We have always felt that the best people for advisers to learn and take advice from are other successful advisers who have been there and done it.
“This is what ‘Independent Day’ is all about and with the help of some of the most respected firms in the country we are giving IFAs across the country the opportunity to take advantage of their extensive knowledge and insight.”
