Carmignac analyst gets emerging market co-manager role

Carmignac Gestion has promoted David Park from the position of Asia analyst to co-manager on its Emerging Discovery fund.

Mr Park will take up the role, which is within the group’s emerging equities team headed by Simon Pickard, at the end of June.

He will run the fund, which invests in small and mid-cap companies from the emerging universe, alongside Xavier Hovasse.
