Zurich, in conjunction with media partners The Telegraph and the Channel 4 network, has launched a campaign encouraging people to take control of their finances.

The online Smarter Living campaign, brings together a wealth of information including top tips from money expert Jasmine Birtles, together with real life video diaries and several case studies.

The hub also features a selection of interactive tools designed to encourage people to take some money saving steps of their own. The tools include a quiz to test money know-how, a smarter living calculator to help people manage their money effectively, and a chance to win one of five electric bikes.

This latest campaign builds on Zurich’s previous ‘Inspiring Futures’ campaign, done in partnership with the Telegraph, which highlighted the importance of having a sound financial plan to enable people to fulfil their long term aspirations.

James Hill, marketing director at Zurich UK Life, said: “With the financial outlook the world now faces, many people are thinking solely about short-term goals. However, taking some time and using a bit of creativity can help us plan for tomorrow while still enjoying life today.

“That’s what the ‘Smarter Living’ campaign is all about – focusing on practical, manageable actions that can make a real difference, without compromising lifestyles.”
