Bank of Scotland hands £140m Sipp to Mattioli Woods

The Sipp scheme will be operated through Mattioli Woods’ subsidiary company, City Pensions Limited, as new scheme administrator.

The Pilgrim Sipp has total scheme assets of about £140m.

City Pensions Limited, known as City Trustees, will focus on providing administration around the operation of the scheme.

Ian Mattioli, chief executive of Mattioli Woods, said: “Our technical expertise and reputation in the Sipp market has driven this opportunity.

“Members of the Pilgrim Sipp will have access to our broader range of services, including Custodian Capital Limited, which manages over £100m of commercial property.

“We look forward to working closely with the members of the Pilgrim Sipp to deliver bespoke personal service and specialist advice.”
