Charles Stanley finalises D2C platform tie-up

Stockbroking firm Charles Stanley has confirmed that it has entered into an exclusive partnership with online financial information aggregator All My Plans that will enable it to provide a broad range of financial planning services through its upcoming dorect-to-consumer platform.

Within the deal, All My Plans will further develop its proprietary software and integrate it with Charles Stanley Direct, a new service to retail clients due to launch in late 2012.

Clients of Charles Stanley Direct will be able to view their wider financial affairs in one place and access further products and services from the company, the firm added in a statement.

James Rawlingson and Rob Hudson, chief financial officer of Charles Stanley and head of Charles Stanley Direct, will join the All My Plans board in a non-executive capacity, effective immediately.

Mr Hudson said: “We feel that this integrated service will be of great interest to anyone wishing to improve the management of their financial affairs, but also to advisers wishing to provide an ongoing service to a segmented client bank.”
