Ingenious makes two senior hires
Wealth manager appoints investment director and business development director.
Ingenious Asset Management, part of UK based investment and advisory group Ingenious, has made two senior appointments as the group continues to grow.
Wayne Ellis has joined as investment director from Merchant Securities. Mr Ellis was director of private clients at the firm before South African financial services group Sanlam bought a majority stake in it in December.
Mark Doidge has moved over to become business development manager from Quilter, where he was regional sales manager for London and the Home Counties.
Guy Bowles, chief executive of Ingenious, said: “We have been appointed to manage over £100 million of assets through financial intermediaries over the past 18 months, increasing our assets under management to over £1.1 billion.
“Mark and Wayne have been specifically recruited to meet this rapidly growing demand for our services from investment advisers.”
