Jason Hollands returns home to BestInvest
Former BestInvest IFA Jason Hollands has returned to the London-based investment advisory firm, several years after he left to enter corporate public relations.
Mr Hollands, who had been instrumental in the launch of BestInvest’s Spot the Dog investment tables, will return as managing director with responsibility for business development and communications.
He will report to Peter Hall, chief executive, and, subject to regulatory and other approvals, will join the Boards of Bestinvest (Holdings) Limited, Bestinvest (Brokers) Limited, Bestinvest (Consultants) Limited and HW Financial Services Limited.
His appointment, which will commence in mid August, marks his return to Bestinvest and the intermediary world after a decade holding senior management positions in the asset management industry.
Most recently Mr Hollands - who was a parliamentary candidate many years ago for the Conservative party - was director, head of corporate affairs, at publicly listed F&C Asset Management PLC where he was responsible for investor relations, corporate communications and internal communications.
Prior to working at F&C he was director, head of communications and strategy, at Isis Asset Management (before it was taken over by F&C Asset Management).
During his career in the asset management industry Mr Hollands has gained significant experience of mergers, acquisitions, integrations and brand building projects.
