Ridgeview Financial is top dog at Charles Derby
The firm, which employes 22 across the south east of England, was formed by advisers previously employed by Co-Operative Insurance Services and joined the network in January.
Since then it has produced just short of £1m of new business while also passing a rigorous three month inspection visit conducted by the Charles Derby group’s risk management team, drawing praise from Mr Fautley.
He said: “Ridgeview Financial has been one of our best-performing firms, so soon after joining Charles Derby. The 22 advisers from the CIS were able to move to Charles Derby as a single unit, allowing them to maintain a familiar environment, aiding team cohesion.
“Of huge benefit to the firm has been the ever growing culture of support and professionalism within Ridgeview, which is now resulting in approaches from advisers wanting to join it.
He said the firm had also benefited from the wide-ranging adviser support services that Charles Derby provides to all its advisers, whether independent or restricted.
These include training, business assurance, technology and sales and marketing support, to prepare both them and their clients for the retail distribution review, which is due to be implemented on 1 January 2013.
A spokesman, speaking on behalf of Ridgeview partners Mark Falzon, Paul Spicer and Ed Fay, said: “Charles Derby has provided us with the right support to move into the multi-product financial planner arena successfully.
“We are proud to be ranked as a top performer within the Charles Derby Group and find the company’s style an excellent fit.”
