Brooks Macdonald expands investment teams

Brooks Macdonald Asset Management has appointed three new investment management directors in London and Manchester.

Brooks Macdonald Asset Management announced today (16 July) that Richard Wayne-Wynne and Mark Godwin are set to join the London investment teams, while Ben Roberts will join the investment team in Manchester.

These new hires bring the total number of investment managers at Brooks Macdonald to 55, with a further 11 trainee investment managers currently in the trainee scheme.

Mr Wayne-Wynne has over eighteen years experience in managing investment portfolios on behalf of private clients and intermediaries and was one of the founding partners of Vestra Wealth LLP. He was also previously an investment director at UBS Wealth Management and Laing & Cruickshank.

Mr Godwin has twelve years industry experience and joins from City Asset Management, where he was an investment manager responsible for private client portfolios. Prior to this, he was responsible for equity fund research and selection for the global private banking unit of Banco Comercial Portugues.

Mr Roberts has over eight years experience in the investment industry. Previous roles have included private client manager at Brown Shipley Private Bank, where he was also a member of the bank’s third party funds committee covering overseas equities.
