Roadshows to educate on structured products
A series of structured product roadshows are set to hit the UK, Ian Lowes, founder of Structured Product Review and managing director of Newcastle-based Lowes Financial Services has said.
Speaking today (18 July) at a Financial Adviser educational seminar, Mr Lowes said a series of educational events would be held across the UK from the autumn.
Responding to ongoing industry concerns that structured products were complicated, he added that it was “about time that this was happening”.
He said: “The Structured Products Association has got all the providers together to organise a series of roadsides throughout the country.”
Mr Lowes added that the roadshows would become an annual event.
Also on the panel of speakers were: David Stuff, managing director at Meteor Investment Solutions; James Harrington, head of commercial implementation, platforms and distribution at Legal & General; Valerie Khoo from RBS; Peter Beavis from Cater Allen; and Chris Taylor from The Investment Bridge.
