Mirabaud launches fund for former BlackRock star Tubbs
Former BlackRock head of global emerging markets gets fund.
Mirabaud Asset Management has launched a long-only emerging market equity fund for former BlackRock head of global emerging markets Daniel Tubbs.
Mr Tubbs, who joined Mirabaud in June, will be supported by three new investment analysts on the Luxembourg-domiciled fund.
The Mirabaud Global Emerging Markets fund was launched on July 2 and is benchmarked against the MSCI Total Return Emerging Market index.
The firm has hired Victor Benavides joins from Amiral Gestion, Charles Walsh from institutional investment giant Hermes and Neville Shaw from Baring Asset Management as analysts on Mr Tubbs’ team.
