The ‘discover fortunes’ activity is designed to inspire students to consider a career in financial planning and give greater understanding to the range of opportunities that exist.
Caspar Bartington, relationship manager of education for the CII, said: “For the discover fortunes campaign to have gained such phenomenal support in its first six months is something of a coup for the CII.
“We are now starting to see advisers deliver discover fortunes sessions autonomously in their local communities.
“It is important for employers and the sector as a whole to attract high calibre recruits, and offering work experience and employment opportunities can be a cost effective platform for this.”
