Mortgage Brain extends mobile applications
Mortgage Brain’s mobile application solution to promote brokers and mortgage products to consumers is now available on the iPad and Android devices, Mark Lofthouse has said.
The chief executive of Mortgage Brain said: “The rapid growth in consumer downloads of UK mortgages, along with the widespread broker participation with our ‘Find A Broker’ function, is absolutely fantastic and we have extended its availability by launching it on the iPad and Android devices.”
The app, UKmortgages, was initially launched on the iPhone in April, and has been designed to support brokers’ sales channels by promoting them to consumers via next generation mobile devices and delivering free leads.
Since its launch, more than 13,000 consumer downloads have taken place with over 750 ‘real leads’ being delivered to brokers through the app’s ‘Find A Broker’ capability.
Mr Lofthouse said: “The app is now available to consumers and brokers across the three main mobile platforms and we’re looking forward to seeing it grow in popularity and being downloaded and used by more consumers.”
UKmortgages has been developed to drive business to brokers and will allow homebuyers to conduct high-level mortgage searches (broker products only), use a range of mortgage calculators, and then, through its ‘Find a Broker’ facility, use GPS navigation to show and provide contact details for the nearest broker.
All mortgage brokers who use Mortgage Brain’s mortgage sourcing systems are entitled to be promoted within the Find a Broker section, together with contact details, at no charge and all leads and enquiries will be passed on, again at no charge.
