Guardian Wealth appoints head of corporate services

Michael Thraves will work on expanding the division as part of the company’s larger growth plans.

International IFA firm Guardian Wealth Management has appointed Michael Thraves as financial planner and head of corporate services.

Joining the company on 1 September 2012, Mr Thraves will be responsible for developing its corporate services division as part of the company’s overall expansion plans.

Mr Thraves was most recently business development director at Lane Clark and Peacock UAE, where he was responsible for leading and developing the company’s United Arab Emirates service including providing actuarial consulting, compensation, benefits and pension consulting as well as third-party claims services to the insurance and pensions industry in the Middle East region.

He also previously worked as client services director at Alexander Forbes Financial Services, covering all corporate client scheme administration and all private client sales support functions.
