Friends Life extends Protect+ critical illness offering
Friends Life has extended its Protect+ critical illness offering by including four new conditions, Steve Casey has announced.
The head of intermediary propositions at Friends Life said customers would now benefit from the addition of sudden cardiac arrest, pituitary tumour, cerebral arteriovenous malformation and cerebral aneurism on the policy. A new condition, child’s hydrocephalus, has also been added.
Mr Casey said: “Today’s changes serve to enhance the flexibility and the quality of Friends Life’s critical illness offering.
“Protect+ is designed to provide a powerful proposition to IFAs looking for innovative and comprehensive solutions for their customers.
“Since its launch last October it has proved extremely popular offering the intermediate market and we are pleased to improve that offering.”
