Jonathan Moss to lead Friends Life heritage unit
Jonathan Moss has been appointed as head of the Friends Life heritage division, filling a void left by Evelyn Bourke who resigned in June.
Mr Moss, former chief executive of the Phoenix Group, will report to Friends Life chief executive Andy Briggs when he joins in September.
Mr Briggs said: “The appointment strengthens the executive team and will bring a wealth of knowledge and experienced insight to our heritage business.
“Mr Moss’ experience will help us to deliver on our strategic goals for the division and the broader business and I look forward to working closely with him.”
Ms Bourke was appointed as chief executive of the heritage division in August 2011, but stepped down in June to become chief financial officer of Bupa.
Friends Life owner Resolution announced today (15 August), that it would no longer split and list Friends Life’s open and closed units.
