Bestinvest’s Lowcock to join Hargreaves
Bestinvest’s senior investment adviser Adrian Lowcock is to leave the firm to join FTSE 100 fund broker Hargreaves Lansdown.
Mr Lowcock will take up his position as investment manager for Hargreaves in November.
Danny Cox, head of advice for the Bristol-based firm, said: “Mr Lowcock will be joining us in November as investment manager. He will be on the research team and is a high quality pundit and expert on funds.”
Former Hargreaves’ investment manager Ben Yearsley left the firm in May after 14 years.
The move also follows news last month that former Bestinvest IFA Jason Hollands returned to the London-based advisory firm several years after he left to enter corporate public relations.
Mr Hollands, who had been instrumental in the launch of Bestinvest’s Spot the Dog investment tables, returned as managing director with responsibility for business development and communications.
