PruHealth increases IFA reach
PruHealth has promoted Penny Jackson to the newly created role of head of franchise sales to drive an increased focus on broadening its reach across the IFA market.
Ms Jackson will be responsible for working closely with PruProtect as part of a strategy to align more closely the two product offerings and to provide support to PruHealth’s distribution capability, specifically on health sales.
She will also will be capitalising on the opportunity for growth within this critical sales channel and providing product training where required. Her main objective will be to build and increase levels of sales on individual business and small to medium-sized enterprises.
David Priestley, the sales director of PruHealth, has said: “Following the retail distribution review, some advisers may be looking to diversify their product offering and business streams and we want to ensure we are in a position to help plug any income gaps.”
He added that the company is providing a strong combined offering to IFAs
Ms Jackson joined PruHealth in 2008 and she has more than 12 years’ experience in the insurance industry having previously worked both on the broker side and in-house for organisations.
