M&G rolls out new clean fee share classes
UK’s biggest fund manager goes live with new RDR-ready share classes.
M&G has introduced new retail share classes across its fund range with both 1 per cent and 0.75 per cent annual management charges ahead of the RDR.
As first announced in May, the new 1 per cent share classes are aimed at intermediaries investing direct with M&G, while the 0.75 per cent share class is for business on investment platforms.
M&G, the UK’s biggest fund manager, has joined Franklin Templeton in launching separate commission-free share classes for platform and non-platform business.
Jonathan Willcocks, managing director of global retail sales, said: “We’ve responded to the demands of the market by providing over 130 new share classes across our funds. This gives our wide and varied customer base maximum flexibility.”
