Sarasin’s Monson hands over equity income funds
Guy Monson replaced by Darryl Lucas on onshore and offshore global equity income funds.
Sarasin chief investment officer Guy Monson has stepped back from his deputy manager role on two of the company’s equity income funds.
Darryl Lucas, an analyst on the Sarasin equity team, has been promoted to deputy fund manager on the £336.6m Sarasin International Equity Income fund and the offshore Global Equity Income Sterling Hedged fund.
A spokesperson for Sarasin said Mr Monson’s role as chief investment officer (CIO) was not changing.
The International Equity Income fund has gained 21.5 per cent over five years to August 29, according to FE Analytics, compared with the IMA Global Equity Income sector’s average return of 20.4 per cent.
