Skandia launches risk profiler for iPad

New feature allows clients to sign directly onto the screen of the device.

By Michael Trudeau | Published Sep 03, 2012 | comments

Skandia has launched a version of its risk-profiling tool for iPads, after initially developing it for use on Android and iPhone handheld devices.

Designed to help advisers assess a client’s attitude to risk and aid discussion, the app presents users with a series of questions to assess a client’s risk appetite by calculating a final score between 1 and 10.

After determining a client’s risk score, the app presents a corresponding range of expected returns to help the adviser explain results.

New to the iPad version is the ability for advisers to have clients sign directly onto the screen of the device to confirm they agree with the risk level selected. Advisers may also compare a client’s score with two alternative risk levels.
