Ignis hires OMAM’s Cowan

Ignis Asset Management has hired Simon Cowan as fund sales director from Old Mutual Asset Managers.

Mr Cowan, who was regional sales manager at OMAM covering multi-manager and wealth manager accounts in London and the Channel Islands, will look after wealth manager and discretionary accounts in the city for Ignis.

He will report to the group’s head of UK retail Austin McBride.
