The IMA has appointed senior executives from Henderson, Fidelity, Legal & General and Aberdeen to its board.

The new appointments include Fidelity’s UK managing director Hugh Mullan; Legal & General Investment Management’s chief executive Mark Zinkula; Andrew Formica, chief executive of Henderson; and Andrew Laing, deputy chief executive at Aberdeen.

The quartet are replacing Newton CEO Helena Morrissey, Aviva Investors’ former chief executive Alain Dromer, who left the firm earlier this year, and Bill Smith, CEO of Lazard.
