Some of the provider’s top supporting northern-based advisers were invited to the event, with a foursome led by Douglas Kearney, investment director for Intelligent Pensions triumphing.

He said: “The event gives us an opportunity to thank a number of our supporting advisers and spend time engaging with them in a relaxed atmosphere. The wind made the course quite challenging but all our guests had a thoroughly enjoyable day and evening.”

Intelligent Pensions is hosting another golf day later this month, when they entertain their southern supporting advisers at Celtic Manor, made famous by the winning European Ryder Cup team.
