L&G Investments sales director McGarry made redundant
Former Insight head of sales Frank McGarry has left Legal & General Investments.
Legal & General Investments (LGI) sales director Frank McGarry has been made redundant, Investment Adviser can reveal.
Mr McGarry was formerly head of intermediary sales at Insight before he joined the investment distribution arm of life insurer Legal & General in October 2010.
His last day was September 14.
The move follows the appointment of former Gemini Investment Management sales director Liz Adnitt as an investment sales director in May.
Ms Adnitt was previously an investment sales director at LV= Asset Management before the management of its funds was transferred to Threadneedle.
Prior to that, she was an investment sales manager at SVM Asset Management.
LGI’s unit trust counterpart Legal & General Unit Trust Managers was seventh in the IMA’s latest league table of retail funds under management, one down on sixth a year earlier.
