Thames River veteran Mike Warren to depart F&C
Group’s newly-promoted retail chief’s departure comes shortly after co-founder exit.
F&C’s retail head Mike Warren is to leave the company less than two months after taking on the role.
Mr Warren joined Thames River Capital as investment director in March 2007 but the firm was later bought by F&C in 2010.
He was then named as head of retail at F&C last month following the departure of Charlie Porter, also formerly of Thames River, at the end of July.
F&C confirmed Mr Warren was leaving.
“Michael’s sales and distribution responsibilities will be assumed by Mandy Mannix, head of client management, while Tracy Fennell, head of marketing and communications, will lead F&C’s direct to consumer strategy,” a spokesman said.
“We thank Michael for his contribution to the group, and wish him every success in his future endeavours.”
