Murray serves up winning launch for Aegon

The Insider loves winners, especially after our glorious summer of sport, and none were more deserving of victory than Andy Murray, who triumphed in the US Open final earlier this month to become the first Briton to win a grand slam in 76 years.

Capitalising on its sponsorship of British tennis, Adrian Grace, chief executive of Aegon UK, used the launch of the provider’s Aegon Retirement Choices workplace savings platform to cheekily boast that Murray had timed his first grand-slam victory to coincide specifically with the platform’s unveiling.

He said: “Murray did brilliantly and we are very happy that he deliberately planned the win to accompany our platform launch.”
